Before starting, ensure that your tax ID number, Business Address, Legal Business Name, etc. in your Business Profile is as it appears on your tax documents. Your business name & address must match what you have on file with the taxing authority in your country (IRS in the United States). Tip: if you moved after registering your business, use the address on file even if it's the old one.

Click Settings > Phone Number > Trust Center

Start the A2P Wizard following the prompts on the screen.

Enter your Message Use Case following the prompts on the screen. In almost every case you will want to follow the recommended choice for fastest approval and lowest cost.

Enter your Sample Messages and User Content following the provided examples. Make them look real, using real names, dates, phone numbers, etc. as they would appear when sending to real customers. Tip: any web links should be "on brand". If your business name is "Betty's Boutique" don't put a link to PetersPlumbing.com.

Once you've entered all information, click to Submit the campaign.

You will be notified of further information that may be needed if either your Brand or Campaign are rejected, or see Approved once your Brand and Campaign are approved. This process typically takes 1-3 weeks.

Once approved, you can send SMS/text from any US local number you have purchased in your Stand Out Funnels account (including numbers you may purchase in the future).

If you have not already done so, create a funnel page that includes a form where people check the box to opt-in to your text messages. A link to your Privacy Policy must also be visible somewhere on the page. This will be verified by the compliance people when they view the link in your campaign.
